| - You Don't Know Me - - - Captain's log: November 1st, 2004:
Not out of the Navy yet, waiting for the paperwork. Ah, the U.S. Government.
As you all know, the Boston Red Sox beat the Yankees 4-3 in the ALCS and swept the St. Louis Cardinals 4-0 in the World Series. REVERSED THE CURSE. Anyway, just let you all know, Curt Schilling is the MAN!
Hope everyone has a Happy Halloween! God bless and I'll see you all very soon.
Love,

| I have a question for everyone:
What do you feel is your purpose in life?
I know it's pretty deep, but I look forward to hearing your responses, no matter how lengthy or short they may be. Thanks.

| - 45 Another day of mindless slave labor, 13 hours to be exact. For King and Country, I suppose. It really irks me that I'm stuck doing dishes and sweeping when I could be home helping my mother and making a difference in someone's life. I joined the Navy to do exactly that: make a difference, and now that I've been in over a year and a half and haven't be able to do that, I have an opportunity to do that at home by taking care of my mother and the Navy takes their time. If I had more rank they would have jumped right on my paper work and got me out of there and home right away, but because I'm only an E3, they babystep through all the red tape and keep me doing mindless labor. It makes no sense to me, but I guess I'm just a smart guy in a dumb guy's world. I'm growing tired of all of this.
Well, now that I have that out of my system, I'm really looking forward to getting my life back together and helping my mother at home. I finally will get to make a difference and accomplish my educational goals at the same time. Plus, we're going to get the band back together and play at Georgetown Baptist Church. Awesome. Hurry up and let me out, Navy, I've got more important stuff to do than wash your dishes! | | |
